Balanced versatility. From field to friend, Reggie is the epitome of a UK working golden. His gregarious personality is unmistakable. He loves people of all ages which shows in his posture and demeanor. The result of which makes him very compliant and easy to train. In the field he is tireless and interested. He loves flushing pheasants on the property while using his acute nose. With lasting endurance he can post a 3 minute mile. His stride is long and powerful. His powerful frame makes him a confident swimmer and he has a bold love of water. He's often seen flying off the bank after a goose or cooling off in the summer sun. In fact, he's not afraid of new or unpracticed exercises. He's so accepting and very trusting. We are very fortunate to have him with us. His offspring are friendly and confident. They are being used in a myriad of usages from a vet clinic to hunt tests.

Lanlwyd Cepheus (The King) The Constellation Cepheus is named after the mythical king of Aethiopia. Cepheus was the husband of Cassiopeia and the father of Andromeda. It is said that Zeus placed him among the stars after his death because he was descended from the nymph Io, who was one of Zeus' favorites.
Reggie's father, Chance, an Italian born golden, has won multiple UK/EUR awards including qualifying three times for the IGL. (A society formed in 1900 which consists of 86 affiliated Societies/Clubs. Each year stakes are held in order to qualify for the annual IGL Retriever Championship.) Reggie's mother, Flo, a UK born working female, lives on a beautiful farm in Wales.
Born near the coastal town of Aberystwyth, Reggie journeyed from Heathrow to LAX, then through the night to the Rocky Mountains of Northern Utah.

Competed in a total of 8 trials, he gained 7 awards, from novice to F.T.C.H in one season at the age of two years.
At the 2019 International Gundog League (IGL) Retriever Championship, he was one of only four golden retrievers of the 64 dogs that qualified, and the youngest dog to run. Despite being only two years old, he received a Diploma of Merit and was also awarded with Guns' Choice. He again qualified for the 2021 IGL, where he was awarded third place. He once again qualified for the 2022 IGL, the only golden retriever to do so. An incredible feat.
