About the name:
Ivy is 1/2 US x 1/2 UK field golden. She has a strong retrieving desire and temperament that makes her easy to train and a pleasure to work with. She comes from a long line a decorated field goldens from both sides of the pond. A complete outcross breeding with a low COI and clean health are excellent precursors to breeding a litter with a lower chance of many standard golden health issues found in line-bred goldens. She makes going to work fun as well as beautiful. A 3rd generation WM Farms female. With a UK father, we knew we wanted an English flare to her name. Ivy is the product of our first TCI from an international breeding. Her father, Riley, lives in England. The climbing evergreen plant known as Ivy makes a simple, charming name for this beautiful dog. Derived from an Old English word, Ivy represents fidelity.
Thanks to Sarah, a professional trainer in the UK, who worked with us to collect and ship Riley's amazing working golden heritage to the USA.

Ivy is very people oriented and intelligent. She loves to please and her working adoration is reciprocated with praise and affection. In the field its all business. As she moves through the fields she is so striking that I keep thinking to myself wow, that's a great looking dog! Ivy exhibits a bold, controlled confidence that is a gift to train with. Very birdy and a strong retriever. A powerful swimmer and gorgeous field coat.
