Notable Lineage:
A 63 pound female with a beautiful field coat, powerful frame, longer coupled, deep chest, nice boxy head, lighter eyes, strong retrieving desire and steady mouth. She is an alpha female who works great alone or with other dogs, kids and people. She is one of the easiest to train dogs I own.

About the name:
Utah enjoys an indigenous lily that grows wild in the rugged mountain meadows after the snow recedes each spring. The Sego Lily is a sacred flower in Native American legend. "Sego is a Shoshonean word thought to mean “edible bulb.” The flower thrives in desert-like conditions.
Lily's thriving confidence and biddable temperament are perfect fit in her high mountain desert home. She is constantly carrying something found in the brush or cattails. Lily loves the water, has a high retrieving drive and enjoys training. She is an excellent fit in our program.

Bringing new bloodlines into our program is very important to us. I traveled to Green Bay, WI to pick up Lily. Sue, at Choctaw Kennels has been breeding quality field goldens since 1992. She has worked & titled goldens in many areas including Obedience Trials, Hunt Tests and Field Trials. Sue has judged AKC licensed Field Trials and Hunt Tests and has been a member of numerous dog clubs. She breeds the type of golden I'm most interested in and completes their health certifications.
