Superior instincts in water or upland topography, Brook is an exuberant, energetic dog that requires regular exercise and mental enrichment. With a body perfectly sized to go all day, she's at her best in the field. A "hunt close" attitude makes hunting those crisp autumn mornings a joy. An affectionate golden who works confidently and independently. One of our fastest, shorter coupled and very athletic dogs. She reminds me of a fox as she springs through the tulles looking for pheasants. Constantly scanning the sky or listening acutely as we work in the field gives us an advantage in the field. Brook is also very clean and neat. She's a sweetheart playing ball in the backyard with the kids. At 52 lbs. she's well sized for a number of usages.
