Ruby arrived at WM Farms when she was six months old. Her breeder had not yet placed her or her brother. We kept her original breeder name and started to train her. My interest in Ruby stems from her grandfather, Decatur Island Gold's Last Grizzly SH. AKA Griz. Carson and I traveled to Decatur Island, picked him up as a puppy, trained him and hunted with him. Sadly he passed away in his 4th year from heat stroke.
Ruby missed some training time her during those 6 months. I trained her obedience and singles. She has since been professional trained at the WM Farms grounds. She's been introduced to the pack, birds, water, JH level training. Her pedigree offers many accomplish field goldens that we want to preserve in our breed preservation initiatives. She is dark, 48#, athletic and nimble. A family friendly golden with a happy personality. She loves people and enjoys retrieving. |
