About the name:

The Wasatch fault is an active fault located primarily on the western edge of the Wasatch Mountains in the U.S. states of Utah and Idaho. The fault is about 240 miles (390 kilometres) long, stretching from southern Idaho, through northern Utah, before terminating in central Utah near the town of Fayette. Jadeite is found in rocks that formed under higher pressure than nephrite. Most known deposits of jadeite occur along, or near faults in serpentinites. One meaning of the jade stone is purity or purification. And because jade is regarded as a stone that protects and supports loving heart energy, jade also symbolizes gentleness and nourishment. So, yet another meaning of jade is harmony and balance.
From the moment Jade set paw in the field she's shown us her field breeding. She is very active, with 100% interest in field work.  If you wrote a book on field goldens, Jade would be in it. She has a great water attitude, highly athletic and a body size well suited for the task at hand.

This young dog is the consummate field golden. All the tools and desire too.
